Just like micropigmentation, microblading is also a semi-permanent makeup technique that shares the same goals.
This technique is characterized by being a superficial tattoo, depositing pigment only in the epidermis using a specialized manual tool called a tebori. It is performed entirely by hand and is typically done using the hair-stroke technique. The choice between one technique or the other depends on the desired result as well as the individual’s skin type.
On average, the pigment can last between 8 to 18 months, and touch-ups can be done as needed. The procedure takes approximately 2 hours.
